Ideals, Morals, and Values

Here at The IGDI, you know we stand for peace through unity. In order to achieve that, it is necessary to have a type of government that can be successful in governing a large area effectively. And so, a modified form of Krytocracy has been developed. Krytocracy is (briefly) where the country is led by a panel of judges, who know the laws of the nation inside and out, and are responsible for making the decisions. In our form of Krytocracy, we have taken that idea, and evolved it. There is a panel of twelve judges, appointed based on their ability and merits. There is also a head judge known as the Commander, for thirteen judges total. The Commander is always referred to as Crust. Fitting, as this is just the outer layer. This panel of judges would be in charge of the most important decisions, where there would be more officials under them. It would be a strong central government, with branches around the nation, carrying out the panel's decisions, allowing the government to get things done fast, and effectively. The economy would be almost self sustaining, as we would encourage trades within the nation, instead of importing goods, meaning we would build the needs to produce our own products. The people would give a certain amount of their paycheck to the government, and in return they would supply free education, health care, and homes for all. With us producing all our own goods, we could control the prices of those goods; something especially helpful with oil, grains, and fresh water. We think this is pretty clear, and welcome your response and ideas for improvement.
This world needs people to take charge. All over people are being oppressed and others stand by idly. We are not condoning taking violence to others because they did something wrong, but sometimes it's the only way to make people listen. That's what we think, and when we see someone in trouble, either by accident or incident, we step in. For example: the U.S.A. steps in for what they see as liberation, and preservation of freedom, while to many it appears more as a large nation, bullying a smaller nation. The problem with this example is that you have to make a choice, which should not be done without all the facts, so that you can help the one that's really in trouble. Personally, we support every other country in the fact that we think others should join together to knock the U.S.A. on its knees; to set it back a couple of decades, if you will. Your problems will probably be a lot smaller but the important thing to remember is that you have a responsibility to do something as a member of society. So next time you see an injustice, take a stand for the right cause.
The last thing we have to talk about is code. Everyone has a code that they live by, to govern where "the line" is, and what crosses it. For myself, the one writing this out on The IGDI's behalf, I find that there are many things considered acceptable in modern society that is too much for me. I can not embrace the degrading outlook on women that is all too common in a city environment nowadays. I also find that my morals prohibit many gestures considered rude and vulgar by many, and yet are not too scarce either. It is these values that define us, and shape us into the people we become. At one time there was a strong culture around these, in the form of chivalry, or the way of the samurai. Now the world is in the position where it needs to regain its dignity. Strive to be a better person, for the sake of those around you, and your own composure. When you witness someone being ignorant of their conscience, bring it up; show them up; remind them what it is to have compassion, and set them straight. For an example, take a look at Kiereek's (another WS official, such as myself) post on Youtube for one of omgmhazzrocks videos. One guy was being very disrespectful towards her, so he ended up giving a speech about dignity that took two comments because it was so long. Speaking of omgmhazzrocks, check out her music if you want to support her. It is a lack of a code like this that will lead to self destruction, and The IGDI will continue to try to promote these morals that were once standard by the best way possible: leading by example.

Myspace and Facebook

First of all, the IGDI does not support the use of Facebook, Myspace, or any other social interaction sites, except for use of group actions, advertisements, and collaboration. We do however, encourage blogs, where the public, as well as organizations, can express their point of view. Contradicting that statement is the fact we have just created a Myspace and Facebook profile. Mainly, this is for gathering attention to this site, and of course, the IGDI. It seems to be a good idea, as within three minutes, we had a friend on Facebook. With any luck this will help get our name around. On that note, add us on those sites if you have accounts, and spread the word. The more people that know about us, the better our chances of expansion.

Current Status

As of the date of this post:Feb. 27, 2008, we are still in the phase of planning and organization. Obviously, being a volunteer organization we have a very limited budget for the moment, hence the lack of a domain. Please take note, we are NOT asking for money. DO NOT send us funds. However, soon we will have a system to register new members for those who wish to join The IGDI. Until then, be vigilant. Power to The IGDI!

About Us

We here at The IGDI do what we do for our people. Our ranks are primarily composed of volunteers who wish to help us, in order to protect those caught up in wars, cruelties, and other events of the sort. Unfortunately, this usually requires getting involved ourselves. Not often will it be in direct sort of fashion, but with tactical prowess (ex. sabatoge, propaganda, etc.). This way we do not put the lives of our people at the greater level of risk they would face fighting a war. The overall goal of these acts is to gain the favour of these areas we fight to protect, and unite them into one peaceful nation.

If you wish to contact us, you may voice your opinions to igdi_@hotmail.com.
